Where can i find the viola sheet music for chopin's "raindrop"?

i found several free copies of it online but obviously its all piano parts... i was wondering if there were any parts translated for viola???

Reply:It's highly doubtful. The viola is not a highly popular instrument: in fact, amongst the standard string instruments, it's far and away the least popular.





You might possibly come across a transcription for violin and piano, and then transcribe the violin for viola. This particular piece is so "generic" to the piano, that I don't think it would really be suitable for transcription to any other instrument.

P.S.-One symphonic work in which the viola plays an almost concerto role, is Hector Berlioz's "Harold in Italy". You might want to take a listen; probably can find it on You Tube.
