Which viola string should I choose?

I've bought Dominant strings for my older viola, but the sound is too harsh and scratchy. I'm thinking about buying either Evah Pirazzi strings or Obligato strings. Which do you think would be better, considering my desire for a softer sound?

Which viola string should I choose?
i would go with evah pirazzi for c,g and d but use either larsen or jargar (i like larsen) for the a string. the evahs have a nice clear tone which is always hard to find without them being cold like dominant strings.
Reply:Lately, I have been using D' addario Helicore and I love the sound! I never thought that I would like an all metal string but these are rope core. They are strong and responsive and last longer than synthetic or gut core strings. Report It

Reply:I like using Jargar for the A string, and I actually use Dominant for the D and G. They sound the best with my viola. C string is hard for me to find a good match, I've tried quite a few and none of them are quite what I'm looking for. I liked the Evah Pirazzi, though.
Reply:I've always liked Evah Pirazzi for my viola strings
Reply:most definetly Evah Pirazzi,
