Viola or violin?

I need to play somethin in school and is viola or violin a good fun instrument?

I played both. In my opinion, viola sounds nicer because it has a richer, deeper sound. However, violins usually get the more exciting parts with solos and stuff. Violas tend to play in the background (at least in an orchestra or symphony).
Reply:I've never played either, but I do love how they both sound. I prefer the sound of the viola due to its more mellow tones. If you're interested in those instruments, then try them out! You'll never know if you like them unless you try. I myself play the piano and have loved doing it for the past few years. Learning any instrument has its rewards!

Reply:I play the violin. I enjoy it a lot. It's hard work, but if you practice often you will really enjoy it.
